ASTON OTN - Jeonghan and Joshua of SEVENTEEN have topped Japan’s Oricon Daily Album Ranking with their first unit mini-album, 'DREAMSCAPE,' following a strong debut on the Korean charts.
According to the latest Oricon chart dated October 20—released on October 21—'DREAMSCAPE' debuted at No. 1 on the 'Daily Album Ranking.' On its first day of release, the album garnered 53,237 points from retailers tracked by Oricon alone.
The new album also reached No. 1 on Line Music’s real-time 'Top 100 Albums' chart and No. 2 on its daily chart. Furthermore, 'DREAMSCAPE' topped the iTunes 'Top Albums' chart in Japan and reached No. 5 on Apple Music’s 'Popular Albums' chart, securing top positions across various local music and album rankings.
The duo has demonstrated strong performance on album charts both in Korea and abroad. Previously, 'DREAMSCAPE' sold over 656,000 copies on its first day, setting a new record for the highest first-day sales by a K-pop unit album.
The title track, "12 o'clock," charted highly both domestically and internationally immediately upon release and appeared on Instagram’s 'Audio Trending' list. The song’s dance challenge had already surpassed 260 million total views even before the track’s official release.
Following their music show promotions, Jeonghan and Joshua will continue their momentum with 'JEONGHAN X JOSHUA JOURNEY INTO [DREAMING],' a solo concert tour spanning six cities.
The second day of their Japanese concert—scheduled for November 21 and 22 at the Belluna Dome in Saitama—will be broadcast live to cinemas in major cities worldwide, including those in Korea, the United States, Singapore, and Mexico.
Meanwhile, Jeonghan and Joshua are SEVENTEEN’s first unit, and 'DREAMSCAPE' marks their first mini album together. The duo’s 'DREAMSCAPE' pop-up also drew attention earlier this month after all reservation slots sold out.
