SEVENTEEN's JxJ will make their debut on October 19 at 6 PM KST. The sub-unit is set to release their first mini-album, titled DREAMSCAPE, which is described as "an exploration of the boundary between reality and dreams."
Pledis Entertainment has explained the meaning behind the album DREAMSCAPE. The title translates to "dream landscape," and the album is set to present two distinct dimensions: the dream world and reality.
Through this album, JxJ illustrates the constant interplay and collision between these two worlds—a ceaseless, recurring cycle.
"As two dreamers, Jeonghan and Joshua are ready to deliver an audiovisual euphoria, capturing the otherworldly beauty found in the clash of these two worlds," the management stated.
Alongside this announcement, Pledis Entertainment released a symbolic video for JxJ, featuring the two letters "J"—the initials of Jeonghan and Joshua—overlapping one another.
The video's visuals also highlight the contrast between the two distinct worlds, embodying the dream-versus-reality aesthetic that lies at the heart of this duo's project.
The DREAMSCAPE mini-album is set for release on October 19. It promises to be a musical project from Jeonghan and Joshua that offers a unique sensory experience.
