ASTON COMICS - Karina and Winter of aespa, along with RIIZE, are taking on new roles to promote Seoul as a global tourist destination.
On September 23, the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Tourism Organization appointed Karina, Winter, and RIIZE as honorary ambassadors for Seoul tourism this year. The artists will launch a global promotional campaign starting today.
Centered on the message "Absolutely in Seoul," the campaign features the concept of "Seoul Syndrome."

"Seoul Syndrome" is a new term describing the longing for the daily life and culture experienced in Seoul after returning from a trip—a feeling that creates a desire to visit the city again.
The campaign video was also created based on the "Seoul Syndrome" concept. It opens with scenes showing the phenomenon being reported worldwide before transitioning to the concept of *Shinseon*—immortal beings from Korean mythology.
Karina, Winter, and the members of RIIZE transform into modern-day *Shinseon*, each possessing unique, mysterious abilities. Through their powers, even ordinary moments are transformed into experiences that feel like scenes straight out of a Korean drama.
The campaign kicks off with a teaser released today, followed by the sequential release of additional videos on the "Visit Seoul" YouTube channel and social media platforms. Promotion will extend beyond Korea to include overseas outdoor media and broadcasts on CNN.
Various online and offline events will also be held as part of the campaign. Fans and tourists can participate in a "Voice Quiz" featuring the voices of Karina, Winter, and RIIZE, alongside artist posters and other promotional content.
