Production on the Scooby-Doo Live-Action Series Is Complete!

ASTON OTONITY – Netflix’s live-action Scooby-Doo series, titled Scooby-Doo: Origins, has reportedly officially wrapped up production. This major announcement was made directly through Netflix’s official Instagram account on Sunday, September 13, 2026.
Filming for this latest series took place entirely in the Atlanta area, which has long been known as a production hub for various popular Netflix titles such as *Stranger Things* and *His & Hers*.
A drama series is a television program or streaming service that presents a continuous fictional story across several episodes or seasons.
Unlike episodic shows, drama series generally have a long, evolving storyline—much like chapters in a book—focusing on character development, social conflicts, romance, or mysteries.

During their search, the two realize that the poor dog has most likely witnessed a murder with supernatural overtones, turning the situation into a mission fraught with danger. An unexpected encounter during the investigation then brings Shaggy and Daphne together with two other characters—Velma and Fred—who also share a similar interest in the murder mystery.
One of the most revolutionary and eye-catching aspects of this latest adaptation lies in the creative decision regarding the portrayal of Scooby-Doo himself. Instead of relying on computer animation or visual effects to bring the iconic mystery-solving dog to life, the producers of this Netflix series chose to use a real Great Dane puppy.
