East Blue Nostalgia: The First One Piece x Tendence Collaboration Watch Officially Re-released

ASTON COMICS - For devoted *One Piece* fans, hunting for iconic merchandise offers a unique sense of satisfaction. One of the most sought-after legendary collaborations is the debut watch collection resulting from the partnership between Eiichiro Oda’s anime masterpiece and the premium Swiss watchmaker Tendence.
After its initial 2018 launch which saw the watches sell out instantly Tendence has officially brought this historic collection back to the market with a special release titled "Batch N°2."

This re-release comes as a welcome development and a second chance for collectors who missed the original launch eight years ago. Tendence has deliberately retained the visionary aesthetic of its KingDome line, renowned for its distinctive 3D curved dome crystal and interactive dial components. However, to preserve the collection's exclusivity, production has been strictly limited, and each unit features special markings.
This reissue collection comprises two main models that represent key elements of the Straw Hat crew's early adventures:
1. Log Pose Model (Nami Version)
This model is specially designed to replicate the legendary compass-like navigation tool Nami used to traverse the Grand Line. A unique feature of this watch is the pointer and upper dial disc, which are designed to sway freely and rotate with the movement of the wearer's wrist.
The nautical aesthetic is enhanced by a deep brown silicone strap resembling a ship's deck, complete with a bold engraving of the Straw Hat Pirates logo. Production of this model is limited to just 300 units worldwide.
2. East Blue Model
The second model draws inspiration from the East Blue, the ocean where Luffy's epic journey began. This watch features a miniature ship's helm at the center of the dial that rotates dynamically through a mechanical mechanism.
The deep-sea aesthetic is captured through a striking combination of an ocean-blue transparent resin case and a contrasting, crisp white silicone strap. Due to the complexity of its design, the East Blue model is even more exclusive, with only 200 units available globally.
Technically, both models retain Tendence’s signature bold dimensions, featuring a 50mm case diameter. Both are powered by high-performance quartz movements and offer water resistance up to 5 ATM (50 meters).
Distinguishing this "Batch N°2" edition from the 2018 version, the stainless steel caseback features a unique serial number and an engraving reading "Batch N°2." Buyers will also receive exclusive packaging with a new design and a special cleaning cloth featuring the collaboration motif.
This limited collection carries an official retail price of ¥64,900 (approximately IDR 6.8 million). Pre-orders are now open online via the official Tendence Japan website, with product shipments scheduled to roll out in stages.
Given the very limited allocation of units, these watches are expected to become highly sought-after collectibles with strong resale value among watch enthusiasts and anime fans worldwide.
