The release of ‘The End: Naruto’ has been postponed to January 2027

ASTON OTONITY – Selecta Visión announces a change of plans for its special screening of “The End: Naruto.” Naruto’s theatrical debut in Spain has been delayed: the anime’s final film won’t be released until 2027
Bad news for Spanish ‘Naruto’ fans. A few weeks ago, Selecta Visión had announced that it would be screening ‘The End: Naruto’ in numerous movie theaters for several days this coming October.
However, in the last few hours, there has been a significant change of plans. The distributor surprised its fans with the news that its big ninja event will be delayed until January 2027.
Selecta Visión did not disclose the reason behind this several-month delay, though it did confirm the new date for this historic moment for fans of Masashi Kishimoto’s work.
For the first time, “Naruto” will make the leap to the big screen in Spain, with screenings of the film “The End: Naruto” scheduled for January 22, 23, 24, and 27 of next year. As for which theaters will participate in this initiative and whether the film will be available dubbed into Spanish and Catalan, no information is available yet.
So why release a movie in theaters now that came out in 2014? Because it’s the most important feature film in the entire franchise. The story of “The End: Naruto” is completely canon and takes place two years after the conclusion of “Naruto Shippuden.”
Since the end of the Fourth Shinobi World War, the Village Hidden in the Leaf has enjoyed a period of peace that, unfortunately for its residents, is interrupted when Hanabi is kidnapped by a being named Toneri Otsutsuki, a relative of the fearsome Kaguya.
Upon learning of her disappearance, Naruto and Hinata team up with Shikamaru, Sai, and Sakura to thwart the plans of this villain, who threatens to destroy the planet. But at the same time, the protagonist will have to deal with the feelings he is developing for the young Hyuga.
In this way, the seventh “Naruto” movie not only serves as the perfect prequel to “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations,” but it also shows us how the romance between Naruto and Hinata blossoms.
The most curious aspect of the whole situation is the butterfly effect it ended up triggering on social media. Many “Madoka Magica” fans took advantage of the announcement of the “Naruto” movie’s delay to demand information about the release of “Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Walpurgisnacht Rising” in Spain.
The franchise’s fourth feature film began screening in Japan in late August, and although we know that Selecta Visión will be bringing it to Spanish theaters, it has not yet specified when that will happen.
In fact, we know it will be screened during the Sitges Film Festival. What is the distributor waiting for to make a statement on the matter? That’s the big question all these users have been asking themselves in the last few hours.
